ROCHESTER, N.Y. — One of three men charged in connection with a fatal shooting outside a Rochester night club last spring has pleaded guilty.

Michael Mighty, 23, pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the death of Melvin White. Mighty faces 20-years-to-life when he is sentenced.

The Monroe County District Attorney's office says White was attacked and shot after leaving Lounge 2six9 on Central Avenue early on the morning of April 17th.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. Police say the shooting took place during an attempted robbery.

Two other suspects, Eli Rosa and Jamol Jackson are each charged with second degree murder.

Their trial is scheduled to begin March 5th.
