CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — A Farmington woman is accused of keeping money illegally from a GoFundMe page.

Jordan Fogg, 24, is charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree.

Police say last August, Fogg created a GoFundMe account to raise money toward a motorized scooter for an individual in need.

According to officials, Fogg raised more than $1,200 dollars, but the funds were never turned over to the individual for whom the page was intended.

Fogg was released on an appearance ticket to report to Canandaigua City Court at a later date.

Police encourage anyone who may have donated to the GoFundMe page called "Jimmy's Scooter" during August and September of last year to contact police.
