If you are enjoying this warm weather  Friday might be a good day to take off from work as we’ll see plenty of sunshine help to push afternoon highs up around 80 degrees for most of us.

A cold front will settle south into the state Friday night into Saturday. A few sprinkles of rain are possible late Friday night from the front, but most of the state will stay dry. The cold front will slow down and may stall out as it crosses the state  so high temperatures on Saturday could range from the low and mid 60s northwest of Raleigh to near 70 in Raleigh to near 80 across the Sandhills and southeastern North Carolina.

Dry weather will continue into Sunday with highs across the region in the mid to upper 70s. Many of us could see highs around 80 again on Monday.
