VIRGINIA -- A woman who was recently photographed flipping off the presidential motorcade while cycling in Virginia has been fired.

Juli Briskman, 50, of Virginia says she's not normally the type to flip-off anybody. But her feelings toward the president apparently inspired the gesture.

After Juli released the photo herself, she made her employer, Akima Management Services, LLC, aware of its circulation.

Pursuant to the company's policy regarding social media, Briskman was fired.

"It's a government contracting company," reasoned Briskman in a recent interview with CNN. "[Akima] can't have employees flipping-off the president."

When asked if she regrets the gesture, Briskman says no.

Briskman has not said whether or not she plans to sue the company.
