Cool air will be locked in place yet again today with a weak wedge pattern over the Piedmont. Look for below average highs in the 40s and 50s with less sunshine than yesterday.

After a weak cold front moves through tonight we will see a big warm-up for your workweek. Highs will make it to the 60s for several days with mostly dry conditions.

A weak shortwave will pass through late Wednesday, but this storm will be moisture-starved and the temperature will stay mild through the start of the weekend.

The next cold front arrives late Friday with a little more rain in the forecast.
