High pressure is situated over the mid-Atlantic states today keeping our temperatures below average with plenty of clouds and a cool northeasterly breeze.

However, temps will warm up Sunday through the first half of the workweek before a major pattern change is in store for us.

A strong cold front will push through the southeast on Tuesday and Wednesday with rain, wind and much cooler air for the rest of the workweek.

Afternoon highs will not make it out of the 40s to end the week with a winter preview on tap.
