BURLESON COUNTY, Texas – Flames could be seen in the early morning sky after a pipeline exploded on County Road 132 around 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Crews have extinguished several fires after the pipeline exploded sparking additional grass fires in the surrounding area. The fires were put out by 8:15 a.m.
CR 132 was closed from Country Road 130 to Country Road 133 while crews are on the scene. The road reopened after the fire was put out and it is safe for drivers to cross the roadway.
The pipeline company has been notified by the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office and will assess the damage.
No was injured in the explosion.
