We wrapped up the workweek with clouds on Friday and cool daytime highs. The clouds will move out tonight as high pressure builds into the region.

We'll start the weekend with more sunshine on Saturday. After a cold start to the day, look for mild afternoon temperatures. High pressure will slip off the Carolina coast by Sunday morning. With southerly winds on Sunday, clouds will increase through the day with milder daytime highs.

There is a small chance for a few isolated showers Sunday night and we may see a few showers on Monday and Tuesday. Neither day will be a "wash-out" with only scattered showers expected.
