INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. - Lights, Christmas...ACTION! If the Garden Oak Holiday Lights display had a motto, that might be it!

Indian Trail resident, Pete Kimbell, has become known over the years for his built-from-the-ground-up Christmas display, that puts 65,000 lights to music.

Cars roll up one by one, park, tune into the correct station and sit back to enjoy the show.

While the show is free, guests are asked to donate to the National Foundation for Cancer Research, an organization that Kimbell says was instrumental in his mother's survival following a 2012 cancer diagnosis.

In 2016, he raised more than $6,000 from more than 2,500 cars and 7.000 visitors.

For more information about the display, you can visit GoHolidayLights.com - there, you'll find the show's location, as well as dates and times of operation.

It runs until New Years Eve.
