A meth lab may be what sparked the fire at an Ogdensburg apartment complex on Monday, according to authorities.
They said the fire broke out at the Belmont Courts Apartments around midnight in one unit before spreading to eight others.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff Kevin Wells said his office provided mutual aid to investigate the possible cause.
The Red Cross is helping as many as 10 people as a result of the fire.
