SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The winter pattern of snow and freezing, followed by relative warm-ups, are a recipe for potholes, and Deputy DPW Commissioner Ann Fordock says crews continue to patch ones that pop up on Syracuse city streets.

"We will get to them as soon as we possibly can. so we realize that there can be thousands of potholes in the city and we're going to work one by one to get them done," said Fordock.

To report a pothole, call City Line at 448-CITY.
