DES MOINES, Wash. -- Highline College was locked down after reports of gunfire.

The college's website read "Highline College is responding to an active threat on campus. The buildings and occupants are in lockdown and cooperating with responding law enforcement. This is an unfolding situation and we will update you when we have further details. Reunification location for family members is the Lowes parking lot at 240th and Pacific Highway."

The bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) also had agents responding. 

Officials gave the all clear a few hours later. 

Highline College is south of Seattle.
