A hunter is facing charges after allegedly shooting into a home Sunday.

Erie County Sheriff's Deputies say Lukas Cetkovic, 23, of West Seneca fired multiple shots from his shotgun into a home on South Main Street.

A resident says he heard a loud noise and found a metal slug on the kitchen floor.

Cetkovic and two others were found nearby using footprints in the snow, according to deputies. He's facing charges of reckless endangerment and reckless endangerment of property.

The Department of Environmental Conservation is also investigating. Cetkovic could face additional charges, police say.

This incident comes a few weeks after a hunter shot and killed a woman who was out walking her dogs in Chautauqua County, claiming he thought he heard a deer. Thomas Jadlowski has since pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree manslaughter and also to hunting after sunset. A few days later, an Ohio man was arrested after he shot at a truck, hitting its motor, after he also thought he heard a deer.
