Brooklyn commuters faced delays Sunday after a portion of a wall inside a subway station collapsed onto the tracks.

It happened at the 86th Street Station in Bay Ridge around 5:28 a.m., according to sources.

Sources said an R train pulled into the station and ran over the piece of the wall, shattering it.

That created debris, which shut down R train service for hours between 36th Street and Bay Ridge-95th Street.

No one was hurt. Sources said passengers on the train had just left the train when it ran over the portion of the wall.
