The city will be right on the line between rain and snow later tonight and into early Wednesday morning. Temperatures will hover around and just above the freezing mark which will limit snow accumulations but should still cause some slippery conditions for parts of the city.

Expect the precipitation to start after midnight as a mix of rain and snow. As we approach the peak of the morning commute, the precipitation will change to all snow for a brief period before ending. Up to 2 inches of accumulation can be expected.

We will dry out quickly later Wednesday and that sets us up for an extended period of dry weather and also a warming trending that brings us to near 50 by the weekend.
