BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A Buffalo man who admitted to a deadly shooting is set to spend the next 21 years in prison.

Russell Adams, 20, was sentenced in court Tuesday. He previously pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of 29-year-old Myron Kemp.

Adams shot Kemp near the intersection of Grant and Breckenridge Streets in August 2016.

He will be under supervision for five years after his release.
